Actually, my journey might not be that different from yours... I started off as an immigrant in a new country, struggling without language skills or education. I spent years working as a waitress until I reached a breaking point and decided to seek something more fulfilling. That's when I discovered the world of lash artistry. After taking my first course, I was unexpectedly let go from my waitressing job, pushing me to fully commit to lashing.
In just a few years, I transitioned from being a student to becoming an educator and eventually the most sought-after lash artist in my area. Determined to carve my own path, I created my own curriculum from scratch, refusing to work for any other lash company but my own. Everything was on track until the lockdown hit, forcing us to halt our client and student interactions, which was devastating.
2018-2020 I invested into quality education, attended many competitions & event to learn as much as possible. Taught myself how to use design softwares, created our first lash manuals & started teaching.
However, out of adversity came innovation. We began showcasing our design process on social media, sharing insights into lash manuals, mappings and educational contents. The response was overwhelming, with many inquiries about how others could access our manuals to start their own teaching journey. Thus, we began offering editable versions, helping countless artists worldwide in kickstarting their educational journey.
As demand grew, we expanded our offerings to include custom designs, leading us to transform our lash business into a thriving online company. I shifted my focus entirely to creating digital lash assets for leading brands, fulfilling a childhood dream of being able to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Now, we are fortunate enough to operate from our favorite spot on the beach in Dubai year-round.
The lash industry has truly been a game-changer for us, providing opportunities beyond what we ever imagined. When I took my first course I never would have imagined this is where it will lead. Our success is indebted to this incredible industry, and we're extremely grateful for every step of the journey.
