Working with different lash layers can be a bit tricky first, but if you learn this simple method, your sets will speak for themselves. The avarage eye has 3-4 lash layers and we can use them to our advantage to really perfect our desire lash look. Are you and your clients prefer those perfectly uniformed lash lines or are they more into the wispy look? 👀 By knowing what lengths to apply to each layers will help you achieve the desired outcomes.
𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 : the key here is to 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿𝘀. In this way, when our clients open the eyes, the top and lower layer lashes will appear the same length. So lets say we are going to use 12mm as the longest length on our client, this length should be applied to the lower layer of the natural lashes. The middle layer should be 11mm and the top layer should be 10mm.
𝙏𝙚𝙭𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 : we gradually decrease the length of extensions as we work from top to bottom layers. If you gonna use spikes during a set make sure that the spikes are 2-3mm longer than the main lengths, and make sure to keep the lashes 90° to the eyelid for the best possible result.
